Refund Policy - the basics
MJ Greenfield strives to provide high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We understand that there may be rare cases where you receive a product with an issue. Here's how we handle those situations:
Product Issues or Defects
If you receive a defective item, please follow these steps within 7 days of receiving your order:

Contact us through our contact form.

Include a detailed description and clear photos of the issue.

Our team will review the request. If approved, we’ll send a replacement at no cost.
Missing Orders

Please wait up to 3 weeks from the shipping date before reporting a missing order.

If your order hasn’t arrived after that time, contact us for a replacement.
If tracking shows "Delivered" but you haven’t received the item:

You must contact your local post office first. They can confirm if mail is being held, investigate misdeliveries, and/or obtain GPS delivery coordinates (for USPS-tracked packages).
We will only send a replacement if:

The customer has reached out to their local post office and confirmed no mail is being held AND/OR
-
USPS confirms misdelivery OR
-
We are able to obtain GPS scan data confirming misdelivery.
Failure to complete this step may result in a denied replacement.
Refunds

We do not issue refunds for products with issues or defects. We offer replacements.

Refunds may only be approved under exceptional circumstances, at our discretion.
Final Sale Items
The following cannot be refunded or replaced:

Minor defects.

Misapplied stickers.

Products damaged by user error.
-
Items purchased over 90 days ago.

Products purchased without reading the full product description.

Items shipped to an incorrect address.
Customer Responsibilities

Correct Address: Customers are responsible for providing an accurate and complete shipping address. No refunds or replacements will be issued for incorrect addresses

Package Theft: Once a package is marked as delivered, it is the customer’s responsibility. We are not liable for stolen packages.

Refused/Unclaimed Orders: If a package is returned due to being refused or unclaimed, we are not obligated to resend or refund. Re-shipping fees may apply.

Reporting Deadlines: Customers must report any product issues within 7 days of delivery and any delivery-related issues within 90 days of the shipping date.

Abide Terms: It is the customer’s responsibility to read, understand, and follow all terms and conditions outlined in this policy. Failure to do so may result in denial of replacement or refund requests.. No refunds or replacements will be issued for incorrect addresses.
Dispute Resolution
By purchasing from mjgreenfield.com, you agree to attempt resolution directly with us before initiating a chargeback or dispute.

Chargebacks & Fraud
Filing a chargeback without first contacting us and following our resolution process is a direct violation of this policy.

Chargebacks may not be filed in lieu of working with us in good faith. If a chargeback is submitted for any of the following situations, it may be considered fraudulent and the customer may be permanently banned from future purchases:

An order that shows as delivered according to tracking records,

An order that was refused, returned, or unclaimed by the customer,

A case in which the customer refused to follow the required steps for resolution (such as contacting USPS, confirming an address, or providing a requested photo),

Any situation where the customer did not report an issue within the required timeframes (7 days for product issues, 90 days for shipping issues).
We reserve the right to provide all relevant evidence—including tracking data, address data, public social media data, customer communication, timestamps, product descriptions, and screenshots of this refund policy—to your payment processor or card issuer.

Customers who abuse chargebacks or attempt to bypass our policies may also be flagged in industry-wide fraud prevention networks.

We want to help resolve any issues and ask that you reach out to us directly before resorting to formal disputes—we are a small business (literally just one person) and value every opportunity to make things right.
